Markus Theunert - according to an article in The European Magazine (Why Gender Politics Do Not Work Without Men) is a psychologist and president of the Swiss “Men and Fathers Organization”; founded the Swiss “Newspaper for Men” and co-initiator the “Day of Fathers” in Switzerland.
Theunert is the first appointee of the Canton Zürich (a region of Switzerland) to deal exclusively with issues concerning men. He is also an editor of the 2012 book „Männerpolitik. Was Jungen, Männer und Väter stark macht“ (Politics for men. Things that empower boys, men and fathers).
